Unstudio is an international architect office Ton founded in 1998 in Amsterdam by Ben Van Berkel and Caroline Bos. The name "un" means "United Network", emphasizing the interdisciplinary character of the studio that combines architecture, urban planning, interior design and industrial design. The team consists of over 300 specialists from 27 countries working in offices in Amsterdam, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Dubai, Melbourne and Austin. Unstudio is known for innovative projects such as the Erasmus bridge in Rotterdam, the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart, the Central Station in Arnhem and the Raffles City complex in Hangzhou. Ben Van Berkel, the main architect, also serves as Kenzo Tange Chair at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
