ElegantToru electric kettleDesigned byNendofor Alessi combines functionality, safety and modern Italian design. Made ofpolished 18/10 stainless steel, equipped withhandle, lid, spout and filter made of black thermoplastic resin.
The kettle has non-slip feet, automatic power cut-off when there is no water, a removable anti-scale filter, a thermally insulated base and a comfortable handle with a lid opening button. The minimalist shape of the jug and subtle humor in the design create an elegant, functional element of any kitchen.
Oki Sato, the founder of the NANDO studio is one of the most influential designers of modern design. Born in 1977 in Canada, educated in Tokyo combines Japanese sensitivity with global aesthetics in his work. He creates light, poetic and full of conceptual humor. Nendo designs for leading brands such as Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Flos, Cappellini, Kartell, Moroso, Boffi, Hermès and Lexus. Sato work includes furniture, lighting, architecture and artistic installations, often surprising with form and meaning. His projects are issued in MoMa, Center Pompidou and Design Museum in London. Oki Sato redefines contemporary minimalism, giving it a narrative and emotional dimension.
