Pocket mattresses

Pocket spring mattresses are the most popular type of spring mattresses today, i.e. one in which each spring works independently of the others. This means that the springs are not connected with a wire, but placed in separate material pockets, thanks to czEmu they work point-wise - exactly where the body exerts pressure. In practice, this provides a much better fit to the body than in older Bonnell structures, where the entire mattress flexes at the same time.

The most important feature of pocket mattresses is the so-called point elasticity. Each part of the body - shoulders, hips, lumbar section - receives separate support, which helps maintain the natural position of the spine during sleep. Thanks to tEmu, muscle tension is reduced and the quality of regeneration is improved, especially with prolonged use.

The second important element is traffic isolation. Because the springs work independently, the movement of one person does not transfer to the entire surface of the bed. This is a huge advantage in double beds - one person can change position, while the other continues to sleep stably, without the "wavy" effect.

Many pocket models are additionally divided into hardness zones (usually 7), where different parts of the mattress have different levels of elasticity. Thanks to tEmu, the hip area is better supported and the shoulders and legs have greater flexibility. The whole thing works more ergonomically and "anatomically".

In practice, a pocket mattress is a compromise between elasticity and precise fit. A well-selected model will work well both for people who sleep on their sides and on their backs, as well as for couples of different weights.
