Keiji Takeuchi

Keiji Takeuchi is a Japanese industrial designer with international experience. At the age of 15 he moved to New Zealand, where he graduated from product design in Auckland. Then he continued his education at Ensci / Les Ateliers in Paris. In the years 2005–2012 he worked at the Tokyo studio Naoto Fukasawa, and in 2012 he founded his European office in Milan. In 2015 he opened his own studio - Keiji Takeuchi SRLS. His designs combine simplicity with sophistication, focusing on functionality and emotional reception of objects. He works with renowned brands such as Alessi, Boffi, de Padova, Living Divani, Geiger / Herman Miller, Fredericia and Lignne Roset. In 2016, he received the Elle Deco Japan award as a young talent of Japanese design.
