Toio is an iconic floor lamp designed in 1962 by famous Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the Flos brand. It is an example of minimalist, industrial design that combines raw elegance with functionality. This unique lamp was inspired by car headlights. Its raw, industrial character is emphasized by a visible transformer and a high, adjustable structure.

The lamp has a dimmer that allows you to adjust the light intensity. The lamp is powered by an LED bulb (PAR 56 reflector) with a power of 23W, 2200 lm (included).
Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, known for combining functionality with humor and innovation. He studied architecture in Milan and worked with his brothers for years, creating iconic projects for brands such as FLOS (Arco, Taccia, Toio), Zanotta (Mezzadro, Cumano) or Alessi (Dry). He was famous for the ability to transform everyday objects into the highest test design. His works are characterized by minimalism, ingenuity and a timeless form. Winner of many awards, including Nine Compasso d’Oro. His works are in museum collections around the world, including MoMA.
