The Lampadina table lamp is an iconic design by Achille Castiglioni for the Italian brand Flos. The lamp is characterized by a minimalist design that emphasizes the raw aesthetics of the bulb as the central element. The base is made of aluminum. The bulb has a partially sandblasted surface, which creates a unique lighting effect.
2 W LED bulb with E27 socket, emitting warm white light with a color temperature of 2700 K. The bulb is included in the set. The lamp is equipped with a 230 cm long cable that can be wound around the base, making it easier to manage the cable. No dimming function.
Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, known for combining functionality with humor and innovation. He studied architecture in Milan and worked with his brothers for years, creating iconic projects for brands such as FLOS (Arco, Taccia, Toio), Zanotta (Mezzadro, Cumano) or Alessi (Dry). He was famous for the ability to transform everyday objects into the highest test design. His works are characterized by minimalism, ingenuity and a timeless form. Winner of many awards, including Nine Compasso d’Oro. His works are in museum collections around the world, including MoMA.
