Vico Magisttti was an Italian architect and designer whose work defined the style of modern Italian design. Known for elegance, simplicity and innovative solutions, he designed furniture, lighting and interiors for brands such as Artemide, Cassina or Kartell. His iconic projects include ECLISSE lamp and MARALUNGA armchair. He combined functionality with the poetic form, creating timeless and useful items. The magistrate was also a lecturer at the Royal College of Art in London and the laureate of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award. His heritage is still inspired by subsequent generations of designers.
