Michele de Lucchi is one of the most valued Italian architects known for combining craft sensitivity with modern design. His most famous project is the Tolomeo lamp (1987, with Giancarlo Fassina), an icon of world design. He also created office architecture, exhibitions and pavilions, including for Enel, Deutsche Bank and Piaggio. His works are in the MOMA, Center Pompidou and Di Milano triennale collections.
