Proxima is a modern hanging lamp from the Danish brand catalog PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED. By sharing its name with the star Proxima Centauri, this hanging, glowing ball provides distributed, subtle lighting, which will certainly add the intimacy of your space. Light from this unique setting is filtered by hundreds of transparent holes that guide light in all directions (the lamp looks very nice after dark, emitting pleasant, warm lighting).

Proxima lamp is available in 2 color variants; Version in a brass finish and a lamp presented in a combination of brass, gray gray and Indian red.

Meike Harde

Meike Harde is a German designer specializing in furniture and lighting, known for its innovative Pode to materials and forms. After graduating from product design at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in 2011, she founded her own studio in Cologne in 2013. Her works are characterized by visual lightness and intelligent constructions, often using textiles in an innovative way. Harde cooperated with reputable brands, such as Northern, vibia, woud, Bolia, prostory and PULPO. Her Pode Jat connects experiments with materials with precise craftsmanship, which brought her numerous awards, including nominations for the German Design Award
