Ann Kristin Einarsen

Ann Kristin Einarsen is a Norwegian artist and designer of ceramics living and creating in Oslo. She graduated in the field of art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo and has an education in the field of crafts from the university in Volda and Telemark. Einarsen specializes in creating sculptures, installations and functional objects made of ceramics and porcelain, exploring the properties of the material and its artistic potential. Her works often combine natural inspirations with modern design, reflecting the fascination of nature from childhood spent in northern Norway. In 2019, she implemented the #365VASES project, in which she published a photo of a new, unique vase every day on Instagram, examining the form, techniques and functionality of ceramics. Her works were presented at exhibitions in Oslo, Milan, London and New York, and were purchased by institutions such as Nordorsk Kunstmuseum.
