Model 2065 consists of a diffuser made of two connected saucers embedded on a curved tubular structure. The lamp comes in two versions; One intended for concealed wiring, the other is equipped with a cable and dimmer to connect to a standard wall socket.

Model 2065 was originally designed in 1950 by Gino Sarfatti. The binding was re -launted by the company Astep in 2016, which also designed the black version in which the upper S Pode K is finished with a soft coating. This leaves the lower diffuser as the only light source, creating a more intimate light and strong graphic expression.
Gino Sarfatti was an outstanding Italian lighting designer considered one of the most important pioneers of modern design in this field. In 1939 he founded the Arteluce brand, which introduced a modern design to Italian lighting design. The engineer by education, designed over 600 lamp models, combining technological precision with an elegant, timeless form. He experimented with new materials, such as aluminum or plexiglass, creating projects ahead of their times. His most famous work is the ceiling lamp 2097 - an icon of modern design. Sarfatti's works are in the collections of museums around the world.
