Model 548 is an innovative table lamp from the Danish brand catalog Astep. A large diffuser from metacrylate provides a very sophisticated light effect and is an indispensable element of illusion and playing with perception. The headlight from white -painted aluminum is mounted on a polished brass bracket, and the small brass rod at the base serves as a counterweight in the ideal balance of individual elements of the model 548.
Model 548 is available in several design variants. You can choose not only the color of the lampshade, but also the finish of the brass bracket.
Designer; Gino sarfatti
Gino Sarfatti was an outstanding Italian lighting designer considered one of the most important pioneers of modern design in this field. In 1939 he founded the Arteluce brand, which introduced a modern design to Italian lighting design. The engineer by education, designed over 600 lamp models, combining technological precision with an elegant, timeless form. He experimented with new materials, such as aluminum or plexiglass, creating projects ahead of their times. His most famous work is the ceiling lamp 2097 - an icon of modern design. Sarfatti's works are in the collections of museums around the world.
