Each ball has a diameter of 20 cm and is delicately held in place by a steel ring in an original grip, which gives the setting a graphic expression and emphasizes the distinctive aesthetics of the Le Sfere series.

Gino Sarfatti was an outstanding Italian lighting designer considered one of the most important pioneers of modern design in this field. In 1939 he founded the Arteluce brand, which introduced a modern design to Italian lighting design. The engineer by education, designed over 600 lamp models, combining technological precision with an elegant, timeless form. He experimented with new materials, such as aluminum or plexiglass, creating projects ahead of their times. His most famous work is the ceiling lamp 2097 - an icon of modern design. Sarfatti's works are in the collections of museums around the world.
