Ernesto Gismmondi (1931–2020) was an Italian engineer, designer and visionary, founder of the brand Artemide - one of the most important lighting companies in the world. He was the author of such projects as the futuristic Discovery series or classic Nur, and also supported cooperation with the best designers (including De Lucchi, Hadid).
