Greta Magnusson Grossman was a Swedish furniture designer and architect, considered one of the pioneers of modernism in Los Angeles. In 1940 she moved to the USA, where she became a key figure in California modernism. She also designed innovative furniture and buildings, including modern houses in Los Angeles. Her works were characterized by a simple form, slender lines and functionality. Magnusson-Grossman is considered a design icon, whose work enjoy great recognition to this day.
