Robert Dudley Best

Robert Dudley Best was a British designer who revolutionized the lighting industry. As a heir to Best & Lloyd, he decided to create a modern collection of lamps, introducing innovative design. He studied design in Düsseldorf and Paris, where he met Walter Gropius, the founder of Bauhaus, which had an impact on his later work.
