Product description

The Gem Lounge armchair by Northem is a contemporary design gem, created for elegant and cozy interiors. The compact form, deep seat, wide backrest and gently rounded armrests ensure full comfort. Slim legs made of solid oak wood add lightness and elegance, making the armchair a unique element of the living room.

A solid plywood base filled with elastic foam guarantees comfortable support, and a wide range of fabrics and leathers from the Gabriel and Kvadrat brands allow you to match the armchair to any interior(the arrangement photos show the Gem armchair in various fabric colors). The Gem Lounge armchair is a combination of modern design, functionality and high-quality workmanship that will make it your favorite place to relax.

Meike Harde

Meike Harde is a German designer specializing in furniture and lighting, known for its innovative Pode to materials and forms. After graduating from product design at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in 2011, she founded her own studio in Cologne in 2013. Her works are characterized by visual lightness and intelligent constructions, often using textiles in an innovative way. Harde cooperated with reputable brands, such as Northern, vibia, woud, Bolia, prostory and PULPO. Her Pode Jat connects experiments with materials with precise craftsmanship, which brought her numerous awards, including nominations for the German Design Award
