The character of the Pal series creates a relationship between natural materials and craftsmanship techniques that make each piece unique. The Pal stool is made of: made of solid oak and equipped with a soft wicker seat (the offer also includes stools with a wicker seat). The wicker seat is woven from natural reed fibers and integrated into the frame to adhere to the surface.

Sami Kallio is a Finnish-Swedish designer and craftsman, whose work combines Scandinavian minimalism with deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. He was born in Helsinki, but grew up in Gothenburg, where he also runs his studio. Kallio specializes in furniture design, especially chairs, using classic carpentry techniques, such as wood turning or hot forming. His work is characterized by the purity of the form, functionality and precise performance. It is known, among others from the "In Between" collection for & tradition, which combines modernity with the Nordic heritage. He also designed for Marek Hans K, Northern or nikari. Kallio believes that a good design should be available, durable and honest with materials.
