The Gem 3-seater sofa by Northem is a contemporary design gem. The 220 cm long model was created for smaller spaces, but provides full comfort for three people. A deep seat, wide backrest and low, gently rounded armrests encourage relaxation, and elegant oak legs add subtle lightness to the sofa.
The structure is based on a solid plywood base, filled with elastic foam. The presented model is upholstered withGrace fabric – soft, pleasant to the touch, with universal colors.
The Gem sofa is also available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers from Gabriel and Kvadrat (the arrangement photos show the Gem sofa in various color variants). This modern sofa goes perfectly with marble coffee tables, creating a coherent space conducive to relaxation and meetings with loved ones.
Meike Harde is a German designer specializing in furniture and lighting, known for its innovative Pode to materials and forms. After graduating from product design at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in 2011, she founded her own studio in Cologne in 2013. Her works are characterized by visual lightness and intelligent constructions, often using textiles in an innovative way. Harde cooperated with reputable brands, such as Northern, vibia, woud, Bolia, prostory and PULPO. Her Pode Jat connects experiments with materials with precise craftsmanship, which brought her numerous awards, including nominations for the German Design Award
