The DHS 10 modular shelf is a functional design that fits perfectly into modern interiors. This shelf, designed by the German designer Herbert Hirche, is part of a modular furniture system that allows for any adaptation to individual needs and space. The system consists of various modules that can be combined in any way. Thanks to tEmu, the shelf is perfect for both small and large spaces, as well as in various configurations.
The shelf is made of wood and wood-based elements mounted on a steel structure. The shelf can also be available in various finishes - from classic oak to elegant lacquered surfaces, depending on the customer's preferences.
The DHS 10 modular system offers various heights of side elements: 735 mm, 1015 mm, 1855 mm and 2275 mm, with the possibility of adjusting the height to 2975 mm. The width of the shelves and cabinet modules ranges from 400 mm to 800 mm, and the depth of the shelves is 292 mm, while the depth of the cabinet modules is 358 mm (details on the dimensions and finishes of all structural elements of the shelf, see the attached product card).

Herbert Hirche was a German architect, furniture and products designer, as well as one of the last graduates of Bauhaus. He studied in Dessau and Berlin under the direction of such masters as Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe and Wassily Kandinsky. After graduating, he worked in the Mies office by Van Der Rohe, and then collaborated with Egon Eermann and Hans Scharoun. In 1948 he became a professor of applied art in Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, and from 1952 he ran the Department of Interior and Furniture Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. His designs, characterized by minimalist aesthetics and functionality, included furniture, RTV equipment for Braun and exhibitions such as Triennial in Milan (1957) and EXPO 58 in Brussels. Hirche was a member of the German design council and president of Verband Deutscher Industrie-Designer. His works, including the H57 armchair and furniture for Richard Lampert, remain icons of German post -war design.
