Fuma Shibata is an outstanding Japanese designer of industrial design known for its minimalist, elegant style and attention to detail. She graduated from Musashino Art University, and in 1994 she founded her own studio Design Studio S. Shibata projects show harmony of form and functions as well as deep respect for the user. The artist is known, among others from projects for brands such as Muji, Omron or Toshiba. Awarded many times, incl. The Good Design Award and Red regarding Fuma Shibata combines modern aesthetics with Japanese tradition, creating subtle objects, but at the same time expressive and perfectly fitting into a modern lifestyle.
