Patricia Urquiola is a recognized Spanish designer and architect living in Milan. She studied architecture in Madrid and Milan, where her mentor was Achille Castiglioni. In 2001, she founded her own studio, creating projects for brands such as Cassina, Moroso, Flos, Kartell and B&B Italia. Since 2015, he has been the director of the artistic Cassina. Her style combines modernity with craftsmanship and technology, creating functional, emotional objects. It is known for furniture such as Tufty-Time or Fjord. Her works are in MoMA and Vitra Design Museum. Winner of many awards in this Order of Izabela Catholic. He is also involved in sustainable development and promotion of design as a tool of social change.
