Wire is a modern floor lamp defined by a frame made of chrome-plated steel wire that widens at the top to support a white, hemispherical plastic shade. The bulb is housed in a small, also hemispherical metal reflector, which directs the light into the lampshade. The wire base gives the design a decorative yet very light look, and the white lampshade provides plenty of light in the surroundings.

Verner PanTon was one of the greatest Danish designers of the 20th century, who revolutionized the world of design. Known for his futuristic Pode approach, he created furniture, lighting and accessories that broke traditional forms and introduced bold colors and modern materials. His most famous work is the PanTon chair - the first ever fully one-piece seat made of plastic, which combines sculptural form with functionality. He collaborated with brands such as Vitra and &Tradition. His designs combined functionality with experimentation with form, which made him a design icon of the 1960s and 1970s.
