The modern Series 430 dining chair has been designed as a study in simplicity, while providing the same comfort as an armchair or bar stool from the same series. Using traditional tape for a fully upholstered seat, to accommodate body weight, a wide backrest was created by placing it on a slim frame that mounts outside the seat and backrest.

Verner PanTon was one of the greatest Danish designers of the 20th century, who revolutionized the world of design. Known for his futuristic Pode approach, he created furniture, lighting and accessories that broke traditional forms and introduced bold colors and modern materials. His most famous work is the PanTon chair - the first ever fully one-piece seat made of plastic, which combines sculptural form with functionality. He collaborated with brands such as Vitra and &Tradition. His designs combined functionality with experimentation with form, which made him a design icon of the 1960s and 1970s.
