Richard Sapper was a German industrial designer, known for its innovative Pode ście combining technology, functionality and elegant minimalism. His most famous project is the TIZIO lamp (1972) - a wireless structure with counterweights, recognized as a 20th century design icon. His works are characterized by minimalism of form, deep understanding of the user and technological innovation, which makes him one of the most important designers of the industrial design of the 20th century.
