Smithfield is a ceiling lamp of the Italian FLOS brand, designed by Jasper Morrison. A combination of minimalist form with functionality. The lampshade made of aluminum and tanning diffuser provides even, diffused light, ideal for residential and commercial interiors. This model is equipped with four E27 frames and allows the use of replaceable light sources (e.g. LED retrofit, max 70W), which gives great flexibility in the selection of intensity and color of light.
The version of this lamp is also optionally available; Smithfield Pro.
The Smithfield Ceiling Pro version differs from the basic integrated 45W LED module (available in 2700K or 3000K versions), a higher color reflection coefficient (CRI> 95) and the possibility of dimming through Dali systems, 0–10V or push. The Pro model is dedicated primarily to professional space, where lighting precision and energy efficiency are important.
Jasper Morrison is a British industrial designer, considered one of the main representatives of the "super normal" trend in design. He studied at KingsTon Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art in London. His works are characterized by minimalism, functionality and attention to detail, without unnecessary extravagance. He designs furniture, lighting and everyday items for brands such as Vitra, Alessi, Flos, and Magis. Morrison believes that good design should be useful, quiet and durable, not dominate the space, but fit harmoniously into it. His Podeway redefines the aesthetics of everyday life, promoting intelligent, timeless solutions.
