Design

Bruno Rey

Bruno Rey was a Swiss industrial designer, known mainly from the cult chair of Rey Chair (model 3300), created in 1971 and sold in over 1.5 million copies. He studied at Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich under the direction of Willy Guhl. In 1968 he founded his own studio and began cooperation with Dietiker. Rey Chair is distinguished by an innovative, sewage combination of aluminum wood and organic shapes. He also designed interiors, furniture and everyday objects. Its designs combine functionality, durability and timeless style. Today, his iconic projects are returning thanks to the cooperation of Marek HAY and a dietist as part of the Rey collection.
