a few words about the designer!

Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Even though he studied at the prestigious Technical School in Frederiksberg and then at the Technical University of Copenhagen, he never completed his studies in architecture. He began practicing traditional functionalist architecture, but over the years his professional interests changed and focused mainly on lighting, for which he is best known.
