A modern portable lamp from the VL 45 collection of the Scandinavian brand Louis Poulsen. Designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, it refers to the iconic models created in the 1940s for the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen. The lamp is characterized by a spherical lampshade made of three-layer blown glass, which provides soft, diffused light. The leather handle and brass details add a refined character, while emphasizing the Nordic aesthetics of the product.
The portable model, VL 45 Radiohus, is equipped with a battery that allows you to use the lamp without having to connect it to the power supply. Intuitive control and the ability to adjust the light intensity make the lamp perfect for various interiors, both home and outdoor.
Vilhelm Lauritzen was one of the most outstanding Danish architects of the 20th century, who played a key role in shaping modernist architecture in Denmark. His works were characterized by minimalism, functionality and elegance, combining modern solutions with classic Danish aesthetics. Lauritzen was known for the projects of public buildings, including important projects such as the headquarters of the Danish radio or Copenhagen Airport. As an architect, he sought to create spaces that favor everyday life Emu, while putting great emphasis on the quality of details and materials used.
