Bernhardt & Vella is a Milan design studio founded in 2008 by the German designer Ellen Bernhardt and the Italian interior architect Paola Vella. Their cooperation began in 2003 in the studio of Carl Colombo, where they discovered a common vision of design as a combination of emotions, functionality and poetics of form. The studio specializes in furniture, lighting, interior design and artistic management. They collaborated with reputable brands such as Calligaris, arflex, Artemide, Bontempi, Natuzzi and Ex.T.
