The Nestor chair collection has been designed with attention to detail and using natural materials. Both the wooden elements and the string on the seat are FSC certified, which makes them biodegradable.The Nestor collection includes chairs and armchairs adapted to several settings for both private and public use, in four color combinations.

The varnish used in the Nestor collection is water-based, which is much more environmentally friendly than oil-based alternatives.

Tom Stepp was a valued, Danish architect and designer, known for creating functional furniture and lighting. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and his previous experience as a construction technician and a carpenter influenced his practical Pode Jest for design. In 1980 he founded his own Stepp Industrial Design studio, which cooperated with many reputable brands, such as Mater, Normann Copenhagen, Fredericia Furniture and Halo Design. His projects, such as the Prime Time chair or the Nestor chair, combine modern functionalism with a subtle aesthetics of Scandinavian design. Stepp was a laureate of many awards, including Formland Prize and Scandinavian Furniture Award. His works are characterized by minimalism, durability and attention to detail, which makes them timeless and valued in both private and commercial spaces.
