The Terho hanging lamp was designed by Finnish designer Maija Puoskari. Inspired by nature, Terho means "acorns" in Finnish and simply refers to the organic shape of acorns found in nature. The warmth and beauty of natural linden wood combined with smoked glass make sure that no one will pass by this setting indifferently.

The wood used to produce the lamp is FSC certified, and the glass is blown in Poland.
The Terho lamp is available in 3 sizes; Ø 13.5 cm, Ø 24 cm and Ø 32.5 cm.
Maija Puoskari is a Finnish designer born in 1978 in Tornio, currently running her own studio in the Kallio district in Helsinki. Her work focuses on designing lighting, ceramics and interior furnishings, combining pure forms with functionality. He draws inspiration from the nature and Finnish landscape, which is visible in projects such as the Terho and Tatti lamp series, made of inflatable glass and alder wood. Puoskari graduated from bachelor's studies in Kuopio Academy of Design in 2003 and master's degree at the University of Aalto in 2009. He works with international brands, such as the Danish company Mater and Nuppu Finnish, creating products combining aesthetics with ecological Pode to materials. Her works were presented at numerous exhibitions in Finland and abroad, gaining recognition for a harmonious combination of craft tradition with modern design.
