The history of the Nena chair is a presentation of a dynamic, iconic chair recognizable after contrast between the minimalist structure and a convenient and extensive seat. The object is born of a comfort test, which reinterpret typical features of balance, softness and dynamics. Lanzavecchia + WAI is a design studio founded by Francesca Lanzavecchia from Italy and Hunn Waia from Singapore. The duo met during his master's studies in Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands and since 2010 he has been creating interdisciplinary projects on the border between design, art and technology. Their works focus on relations between man and the object, examining the emotional and functional aspects of everyday objects. The studio implements projects for brands such as Cappellini, Living Divani and Herman Miller creating both furniture and artistic installations. Their work is characterized by experimental Pode Jest, care for the cultural context and the search for innovative material solutions.
