Louis Weisdorf

Louis Weisdorf is a Danish designer and architect known for innovative lamps from the 1960s and 70s. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and his career included graphic, industrial and interior design. He collaborated with Tivoli Gardens and designers such as Verner Pan Ton and poul Henningsen. His best-known projects are concylies, guy, turbo and multi-life lamps. Weisdorf was a pioneer in creating lamps from modular elements, which enabled various configurations and controlling the direction of light.
