Stefano Giovannoni

Stefano Giovannoni is an Italian designer born in 1954 in La Spezia. He graduated from architecture at the Florentine University in 1978. Co-founder of the King-Kong studio, which he founded from Guido Venturini. His cooperation with the company Alessi resulted in such projects as Giro Ton to, Mami, China Family and Orientales. As an artistic director of the Qeeboo brand, he created, among others chair-king. He also worked for brands such as Magis, Flos, Siemens, Veneta Cucine, Tubes, Domodinamica and Laufen. His projects have won numerous awards, and the works are in the permanent collections of the Center Georges Pompidou and MoMa in New York. Giovannoni is also a professor of industrial design at the University of Genoa.
