Kubus Lowy Bowl By Lassen

Winnie Bowl is based on the original sketches of Mogensa Lasen. It contains clear elements of the Bauhaus era, which the author inspired. Kubus Bowl is produced in Denmark with an emphasis on high quality and solid workmanship, and these unpainted bowls are a natural extension of the iconic Kubus candlesticks, which Mogens Lassen designed in 1962.

Kubus Bowl is great for home decoration. It can be used for flowers for herbs, a container for fruit, vegetables or favorite sweets.

Mogens Lassen

Mogens Lassen was a Danish architect and designer, considered a pioneer of functionalism and modernism in Denmark. After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he worked at the Tyge Hvassa office, and in the years 1927–1928 he stayed in Paris, where he encountered the work of Le Corbusier, which influenced his Pode to architecture. He mainly designed residential buildings, including villas and apartment buildings, as well as interiors of shops and public facilities. His furniture, such as Kubus candlestick or folding Egyptian table, combine the simplicity of form with precision and have become icons of Danish design. In 1971 he received the medal of C.F. Hansen for an outstanding contribution to architecture. Today, his projects are valued for timeless aesthetics and functionality.
