Studio Gridy

Studio Gridy is a Norwegian design studio founded in 2009 in Oslo by a duo of designers: Lars Olav Dybdal and Wilhelm Grieg Teisner. The name "Gridy" was created from the combination of their names - Grieg and Dybdal. Both designers graduated from Bergen Academy of Art and Design, and then continued their education at prestigious universities: Dybdal at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and Teisner at Oslo School of Architecture and Design. Studio Grids specializes in designing furniture, lighting and everyday objects, combining functionality with minimalism characteristic of Scandinavia. Their designs are characterized by simplicity, utility and subtle sense of humor, which gives them a unique character. They collaborated with reputable brands, such as Northern, Audo Copenhagen (formerly MENU), Normann Copenhagen or grand rapids chair company.
