Mattia di Rosa is an Italian designer born in 1969 in Carrara, known for his experimental Pode ście to the design, in which the case and errors play a key role. Since 1992, he has been cooperating with the company Alessi, creating iconic everyday objects. His most recognizable design is the series of kitchen containers "Gianni A Little Man Holding On Tight", in which the small form of "Gianni" seems to hold the lid from the inside, giving the products a humorous and human character. Di Rosa often collaborated with Stefano Giovannonim, with whom he created, among others "Fruit Mama" plate and a "bimboveloce" cake stand. His projects combine functionality with narrative Pode into form, introducing an emotional dimension to utility items. DI ROSA works were presented at many design exhibitions and auctions, and his work remains an example of the Italian Pode to the design, where fun and innovation go hand in hand with daily functionality.
