Gear Floor Lamp Northern

The Gear lamp series has been designed with rotating gears and stylish rotation. As in the case of gear shift in the car, the position of the blind changes manually with the lever. The gears inside the base are locking on the spot with each adjustment of the blinds. The floor lamp spectacularly slides forward placing the lampshade above the head, while table lamps with single or double shades illuminate the surrounding surfaces.

All three versions of Gear are made of aluminum and steel, which gives the lamps expressive contours and industrial appearance.

Johan Lindsten

Ohan Lindstén is a Swedish designer born in 1981 in the Småland region, known as "Möbelriket" - the capital of Sweden's furniture. From an early age he absorbed the knowledge of design, which resulted in a decision about the designer's career at the age of thirteen. He studied industrial design at the University of Växjö and furniture design at Carl Malmsten CTD at the University of Linköping. After graduating in 2008, he founded his own Lindstén Form Studio studio in Stockholm. Lindstén specializes in designing furniture, lighting and accessories that combine functionality with emotional message. His works are characterized by the simplicity of form, unexpected details and narrative Pode to evoke positive emotions in the user. He draws inspiration from nature, daily observations and astronomical phenomena, such as the "Ocean Storms" on the moon.
