A modern hanging lamp providing direct, diffused and reflected light. Injection molded diffuser plate made of Opaline polymethacrylate (PMMA) suspended by three thin steel cables. Polished, nickel-plated and glossy lacquered reflector made of glossy white glossy sheet metal. Black painted, injection molded ABS ceiling fixture and rosette.

Achille Castiglioni

Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, known for combining functionality with humor and innovation. He studied architecture in Milan and worked with his brothers for years, creating iconic projects for brands such as FLOS (Arco, Taccia, Toio), Zanotta (Mezzadro, Cumano) or Alessi (Dry). He was famous for the ability to transform everyday objects into the highest test design. His works are characterized by minimalism, ingenuity and a timeless form. Winner of many awards, including Nine Compasso d’Oro. His works are in museum collections around the world, including MoMA.
