Elica is a modern table lamp from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce, which won the most important prizes in the world of design; among others Compasso d’Oro and red dot Award. Designed by Brian Sironi, it captivates with a designer form in which the light is born of movement. Instead of a classic switch, shoulder rotation. Without unnecessary details, pure geometry that catches the eye and encourages interaction. Made of varnished aluminum (white, black or yellow), provides direct, warm light (LED 9W, 3000K, CRI> 90), perfect for work and mood lighting.

Brian Sironi

Brian Sironi is an Italian designer of the young generation who has gained international recognition thanks to the combination of modern aesthetics with deep respect for craftsmanship and functions. He graduated from the Milan University of Technology, and gained experience in both Italy and the USA. His most famous project is the Elica lamp for Martinelli Luce, who brought him the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award in 2011. Sironi consistently strives to create "pure" items formally and used where the form results from the function. He values minimalism, gesture and user interaction with the object. In his projects we will not find unnecessary ornaments, instead he offers thoughtful elegance and intelligent solutions.
