Diva's distinctive spiral format creates a sculptural shape that can be appreciated from several vantage points. Made from 32 strips of laminated plywood, the lamp showcases the sophisticated techniques needed to create such a striking shape. The hanging lamp adds an eye-catching accent to the interior while gently scattering the light in the room. Recently redesigned in a more elegant style, the floor lamp balances the shade on a shiny metal disc that hugs the surface.
Both the hanging lamp and the floor lamp are available in 2 wood colors; natural oak and smoked oak.
designer; Peter Natedal & Thomas Kalvatn Egset
Peter Natedal and Thomas Kalvatn EgSet are Norwegian designers specializing in furniture and lighting, known for innovative Pode to traditional craft. Both born in 1981, graduated from furniture design at the Oslo National Academy of Arts - Niedal in 2008, and Eget in 2009. Niedal comes from Porsgrunn, where he continues family traditions in furniture trading, dealing with lighting and furniture design, 3D modeling and hotel interior design. EgSet, inspired by the craft of his grandfather, works as an independent designer in Oslo. Their common work is the collection of Diva lamps for the brand Northern lighting, combining modern design with Norwegian craftsmanship.
