Matteo Thun

Matteo Thun is an Italian architect and designer, known for the holistic Pode ście combining design, nature and sustainable development. He studied with Oskar Kokoschka and Ettore Sottsassa, with whom he co -founded the Memphis collective - a movement rebelling against the classic principles of design. Thun designs buildings, interiors, furniture and ceramics, often drawing on local traditions and natural materials. He collaborated, among others with brands Artemide, illy and duravit. His style is a balance between function, simplicity and emotion. The laureate of many awards is valued for a timeless, balanced design.
