Audacious is a modern chest of drawers inspired by Scandinavian functional design. It will look great in both the living room and dining room. The chest of drawers is characterized by sliding, fabric-upholstered doors and an oval, organic shape. The interior of the chest of drawers has two shelves, spacious enough to store various household items. Fabric-upholstered blinds slide around along the edge of the chest of drawers, allowing you to decide whether and to what extent to reveal the secret and present its contents.
The louvres of the Audacious chest of drawers are easily replaceable, which means you can change them yourself and add new life to the design without having to buy a new piece of furniture, thus saving the world's resources while caring for the ecology.
Jonas Søndergaard is a Danish furniture designer and carpenter, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2015. Already as a young journeyman he won the first places in the Danish and Nordic carpentry championships, which resulted in representing Denmark at Worldskills 2005 in Finland. His projects combine classic carpentry techniques with modern functionality and aesthetics. As an internal designer in Umage, he created furniture collections such as "Treasures" and "Audracious", which are distinguished by Scandinavian minimalism and attention to detail. Søndergaard emphasizes that design is not only an artistic expression, but also a craft that requires understanding the needs of users and production processes. His works are available in the Umage offer and are recognized as a combination of tradition with modern design.
