The spherical shape of the Lora hanging lamp by Umage (formerly Vita Copenhagen)brings to mind plant motifs. Thanks to its form, the lamp made of plastic disperses the light spectacularly, creating a unique aura around it. The lamp is designed for independent but simple assembly.
The lamp is delivered without a suspension, which can be purchased separately in our store.
Lora is available in 2 lampshade sizes; presented with a diameter of 75 cm and 45 cm.
Lorenzo Radadaelli is an Italian designer born in Milan in 1975, a graduate of Bauhaus Universität Weimar in Germany (2001). He specializes in designing furniture, lighting and utility products, combining innovative Pode Jest with experiments in the field of form and material. His works are characterized by organic shapes and sensual aesthetics, which can be seen in designs for the brand Umage, such as "Ribbon", "Alva" and "Lora" lamps. Radadaelli collaborated with reputable companies, including Bticino, Hitachi, Louis Vuit Ton and Toyota, and with the legendary Castelli Design studio. Since 2009, he has been running his own design studio, creating products for brands such as Mesa, Caoscreo and Toffolights. His design philosophy is based on creating new languages of expression and transforming innovative concepts into successful products.
