The design inspiration of the Acorn lamp by Umage (formerly Vita Copenhagen)was nature, and to be more precise, the shape of the glans. The glass lampshade is finished with a black silicone lid on the outside and a steel finish on the inside. The visible light source emits clear and very atmospheric light, creating a pleasant aura around it.
The lamp is designed for independent but simple assembly. It is delivered without suspension, which can be purchased separately in our store.
Jacob Rudbeck is a Danish designer, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. His works combine functionality with aesthetics, inspiring the tradition of Scandinavian design. Rudbeck cooperated with reputable brands, such as Umage and Normann Copenhagen, creating lighting projects that have gained recognition on the international market. For Umage he designed, among others "Acorn", "Hazel" and "Cassini" lamps, which are characterized by organic shapes and minimalist style. The "Hazel" lamp is inspired by the shape of hazelnuts, combining dynamic lines with solid materials, such as brushed steel and brass, and a built -in LED panel with a soft diffuser ensuring pleasant light.
