Product description

The AAC 13 chair is the essence of Danish design - minimalist, elegant and comfortable. The design by Hee Welling combines a subtly curved armless seat with a solid solid wood base. The Bolgheri LGG60 upholstery in a shade of beige gives it a warm, subtle character, and the black oak legs varnished with water-based varnish give the whole a modern, graphic accent. The ergonomic, upholstered seat and backrest ensure comfort both at the dining table and in the office space. The chair is made of recycled plastic, which makes it an environmentally responsible choice.

Design

Hee Welling

Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer, known for creating functional, aesthetic and timeless forms that combine Scandinavian minimalism with innovative production technology. The artist graduated from Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and in 2003 founded his own design studio in Copenhagen. His Pode Jat design is based on the "form follows function", which can be seen in such projects as the series of chairs "About a chair" for the brand HAY. He also cooperates with & tradition, designing furniture that maintains a balance between modernity and the classic spirit of Nordic craftsmanship. Welling's projects enjoy international recognition for the clarity of form, ergonomics and durability, and his works are present in homes, offices and public spaces around the world.
