VL Studio is a minimalist wall lamp that is part of the iconic VL Studio series, inspired by Vilhelm Lauritzen's original designs from the 1940s. Thanks to its timeless aesthetics and perfect light dispersion, the lamp fits perfectly into both modern and classic interiors. The lamp shade is made of three-layer, blown opal glass - shiny on the outside and matte on the inside, the base and wall bracket are made of matte black aluminum.
The lamp is powered by 1 bulb (LED bulb recommended for energy efficiency, max. 40W). Lamoa emits diffused, soft lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere in the surroundings.
The lamp does not have a cable with a plug because it is intended for direct connection to the electrical installation in the wall (switching on/off is done using a wall switch (e.g. a traditional wall switch or a Smart Home system).
Vilhelm Lauritzen was one of the most outstanding Danish architects of the 20th century, who played a key role in shaping modernist architecture in Denmark. His works were characterized by minimalism, functionality and elegance, combining modern solutions with classic Danish aesthetics. Lauritzen was known for the projects of public buildings, including important projects such as the headquarters of the Danish radio or Copenhagen Airport. As an architect, he sought to create spaces that favor everyday life Emu, while putting great emphasis on the quality of details and materials used. His works had a great impact on the development of contemporary architecture and design, and his design philosophy still inspires contemporary artists.
