The presented vase is a project of the German architect Therese Arns. The vase belongs to the Echasse series. Echasse from French means stilts, and the similarity to the above can be observed in the vase brass frame. Another inspiration for the creation of a spectacular collection were laboratory vials with sophisticated shapes.

Theresa Rand is a German designer living in Copenhagen known for subtle, functional forms. She studied interior architecture and furniture design for Peter Behrens School of Architecture and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 2010, she founded the Studio Theresa Rand, where she creates furniture, lighting and utility subjects. Her style combines Nordic minimalism with feminine sensitivity - the designs are elegant, soft in expression, and at the same time practical. Rand cooperates with such brands as Audo Copenhagen or carl Hansen & Søn. It is known, among others from the design of the Snaregade desk and pepe mirror. It is inspired by architecture, everyday life and emotions. Its goal is to create things that bring not only aesthetics, but also warmth and peace.
