Marcello Ziliani is an Italian architect and designer who graduated from the Milan University of Technology in 1988, under the direction of Achille Castiglioni. After three years of work abroad, he returned to Italy, focusing on furniture design, lighting, accessories and scenery. His Pode combines functionality with aesthetics, with an emphasis on sustainable development and "Human-Cendered Design". Ziliani cooperated with reputable brands, such as Flos, Roche Bobois, Pedrali, Ethimo, Calligaris or Magis. He is also a professor of product design at the University of San Marino / IUAV since 2011. His projects have won numerous awards, including Good Design Award, Archiproduts Design Award and Iconic Award.
